HOW DO I SHARE MY DRIVING LICENCE DETAILS?
Following the abolition of the driving licence paper counterpart, it is necessary for driving schools to check customers' entitlement to drive online using the DVLA share your driving licence service.
In order to do this, it is necessary for customers to provide Shamrock Driving School with a licence check code, valid for only 21 days from the time of generation, using the DVLA Share your Driving Licence procedure. Alternatively, if you have any problems using this online service, you can phone DVLA on 0300 0830013 quoting your driving licence details and they will issue you with the licence check code (NB the code is case sensitive).
Please e-mail your name, check code (NB the code is case sensitive) and last 8 characters of your driving licence number (don't include the two numbers following the space after the driving licence number) to firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as the check code's been generated since it is only valid for 21 days.
"I don't know my National Insurance Number?"
If you're in employment, it will be shown on your P60 or your payslip.
If you still can't find it, call the National Insurance (NI) helpline 0300 200 3500 or complete the CA5403 form and send it to the address shown on the form. Please note, NI numbers are never given over the phone and will be posted to your home address.
Everyone should receive their NI number just before their 16th birthday (NB HMRC no longer send out plastic NI cards). If you're aged 16-20 and don't have one, call the NI number helpline 0300 200 3500. If you're over 20 or have moved to the UK and are eligible to study or work in the UK call 0345 600 0643.
